There are so many ways you can help make a difference. Below are some ways you can help those in need through the Father Fred Foundation. What we have to offer is a direct result of the generosity of our community.
Food Drives
Host a collection event at your business, church or school. You can do this around the time of our two big food drives in late September, or February, or at any other time of the year.
Clothing Drive
Welcome Baby
Collect the following new items for layettes: bibs, burp cloths, newborn diapers, swaddles, onesies, mitts, hats, sleepers, socks, ointment, baby wash, baby wipes, and receiving blankets.
Grow a Row
Plant an extra row of veggies in your garden and give the produce from that row to the Father Fred Food Pantry! Or you can volunteer at our community garden.
Personal Care Drive
Collect donations of essential items like diapers, pull ups, shampoo, laundry soap, floss, toothpaste and toothbrushes, disposable razors, feminine care products, bath soap, deodorant, etc…
Back to School Drive
Hold a fundraiser to collect money for our Back to School Shoes Program. We purchase new shoes for kids in five local counties. Every donation helps this program! You can also collect school supplies, including pens, pencils, notebooks, tissues, glue sticks and packs of paper.
Toys
Collect all types of new and gently used toys for distribution to children who visit the clothing store with their parents. Be a volunteer to help our clients shop at our Toys for Tots shopping location.
Annual Garage Sale
Donate your treasures or volunteer for our very popular garage sale. All proceeds go towards our programs.
Birthday Bags
Help us put together bags that include all the items needed to make a birthday cake! The bags that can be decorated contain non-perishable cake ingredients, a disposable cake pan, and candles.
